AgBiome locating to new greenhouse lab

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Agricultural science startup AgBiome will locate to a new 30,000-square-foot mixed office, laboratory and greenhouse complex in Research Triangle Park. Construction is scheduled to be completed in December.

According to its website,  AgBiome is a provider of early stage research and discovery for agriculture. Its focus is on exploring the crop microbiome to identify products that reduce risk and improve yield. The startup currently has 33 full-time employees

AgBiome will join global biotechs such as Bayer CropScience, Syngenta and BASF in operating an agricultural laboratory in The Triangle.
